Juventus Eyes Gabriel Jesus
With Cristiano Ronaldo’s future up in the air, Juventus have set their sights on Manchester City star, Gabriel Jesus.
According to reports in Italy, 24-year-old Jesus tops the club’s summer transfer shortlist that includes the likes of Everton’s Moise Kean, Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi, and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.
With 82 goals in 195 games to his name, the Brazilian forward would certainly be a huge acquisition for Juventus. On the one hand, with City losing striker Sergio Aguero, the English club may want to uphold their offensive by keeping Jesus on for another season.
On the other hand, Ronaldo – whose contract expires with Juve in the summer of 2022 – is supposedly entertaining an extension at the club, because “his agent has not been able to find a club that is willing to spring for both his huge wages and the reported £25 million” wanted by the Serie A giants.
Jesus has yet to comment on the transfer rumours.
